When material comes first, the design follows
SANKAKUMADO
With the San kaku mado you can easily create and rearrange your own patterns, images and objects with these colourful triangles. Due to the adhesive properties of the material they stick to the window. Use your creativity to construct your own imagination. The material is easy to clean and when washed with soap the vinyl regains its adhesive qualities.
FUROSHIKI SHIKI
The zipper and button-less “furoshiki shiki” bag series (means “furoshiki style”) is made out of one sheet of semi transparent vinyl “film”. This sheet is turned into a bag by folding it and by making use of the adhesive qualities of the material. The vinyl is easy to clean and when washed with soap the material regains its adhesive qualities.
MATERIAL
Japanese dedication formed the basis for developing a special kind of vinyl that sticks without being sticky and that glows without being a light. Discovering this was the start of a range of products that are 100% vinyl only. The foldable bags Furoshiki Shiki have become a classic in little years of existence and most recently a new product was added, the San kaku mado, a playful window mosaic.
